The images taken in 2 or more positions, provided that we can precisely know camera position at the time of acquisition of each set ( the distance between two positions) can be used to obtain 3D information (distance to the objects) withing the scene.
To improve the precision of the distance measurement between 2 camera positions there are 2 additional sensor+lens modules located 1meter below the camera head which allows to measure the distances to the objects within FOV of the top and bottom lenses.
Exact distance between camera shots will also increase the absolute position of the camera at each frame, obtained with GPS.
