This camera is also using the same 5Mpix sensors and other electronics, such as shown previously – 8 of the 10353 system boards, interface and multiplexor boards.
Internal SSDs for recording – all inside the camera pole;
2 additional sensors in the camera pole to obtain initial 3D information.
The design of panoramic camera allows for the upgrade to the new 10393 electronics.
Special consideration was taken into design of sensor-lens module (thermally compensated), for the camera is calibrated for precise pixel-mapping and possibility of image-based 3D reconstruction.
Schematic representation of the FOV of sub-cameras in Eyesis4Pi, color shows time of acquisition (from red to blue):1-8 horizontal sensors; 1t-8t top sensors;1b-8b bottom sensors
This camera has very small parallax which is important feature in panoramic applications, due to the compact arrangement of sensor-lens modules.
