The triclops camera is a prototype for the cinematographic camera with synthesized depth of field we are developing.

With 3 calibrated sensor+lens modules arranged in a fixed position it can provide photogrammetric information and Depth of Field can be generated in post-processing of the shots.

The simple demo shows how

in 3D animation – the depth of field is created by setting certain rendering options for virtual camera, so that objects in one plane are in focus, and objects out of this plane are not.
