NC393 camera aluminum body was designed to work as a heat sink for the camera: the heat frame is attached to the main system board, and this assembly slides into the camera body so that the heat transfers from the board to heat frame and from heat frame to the camera body, providing enough cooling for powerful processor. For cameras planned to be used in more enclosed spaces there is also a fan.
